Becoming a member of CSSO is advantageous as it gives Surgical Oncology a voice across Canada. Our goal is to ensure excellent cancer care amongst Canadians as well as networking with other Oncology Societies to advocate for Cancer Care. Any individual who is a medical practitioner and holds a valid certificate in a surgical specialty or subspecialty and who is engaged in the field of cancer or related field in Canada.
Any individual outside of Canada who is a medical practitioner and holds a valid certificate in a surgical specialty or subspecialty and who is engaged in the field of cancer or a related field.
A letter of good standing from your Division Head supporting your application and a current CV will be required. Please have them ready before completing the application process.
Any individual currently pursing a surgical oncology fellowship in Canada or the U. S.
Any individual enrolled in an accredited Canadian general surgery training program.
Any individual enrolled in a Canadian or U.S. Medical School that is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
